Mozzarella Cheese

Mozzarella is a soft, fresh, stretchy Italian cheese with a mild, milky flavor and smooth texture. It’s especially loved on pizza because it melts beautifully and gives that gooey cheese pull.

Traditionally made from water buffalo milk in Italy (called mozzarella di bufala), but most commercial versions use cow’s milk (mozzarella fior di latte).

It’s usually white and sold as balls, blocks, shreds or diced pieces.
